Received a solid and reproducible bug report for Nodemailer. For years most "bug reports" have been "works in dev, not in prod" type of questions suitable for Stack Overflow, not for a bug tracker. Finally, a real edge case handling to fix 🏄♂️

it does increase productivity.
e.g. u can throw long text and tell it to summarize into points or solve coding problem, like regex etc, it much faster than googling it or go to stack overflow

@StackOverflow I think the problem with most loved language is that it doesn't take into account professional developers and deadlines. If some language is being used for fun it will be more loved that the one you have to use at work.

@CicmilJovan The problem with this line of thinking is that chat GPT is precisely trained on the stack overflow q&a data available. So it may answer for current knowledge but not future knowledge. If we stop contributing to stack overflow then ai won’t answer our questions in 5 years

@forgash_ You should send the proposal to the data platforms, would be extremely useful. One of my favorite VSC extensions is Captain Stack, which gives me the StackOverflow answer to a broken line of code without opening a new window and leaving VSC.
