Was all ready to have a breakdown watching the last episode of Made in Abyss season 2 but it doesn't release til TOMORROW. Which I knew and was counting down the days until, but HiDive had the episode title up instead of the usual "Coming Soon" so I was hopelessly bamboozled

@BenjaminOscar77 There’s also this issue where a number of anime titles just left HIDIVE and hasn’t returned even though they haven’t lost the licence. Still, Sentai filmworks and HIDIVE wouldn’t be where they’d be today if AMC Networks didn’t acquire them. 3/3

@BenjaminOscar77 Same. My membership ends at december and I will probably not renew immediately. Main issue is that I pay in US currency despite living in Canada. So an annual HIDIVE membership is almost as expensive as a fan Crunchyroll membership and I pay that in Canadian currency. 1/

@Ghostbook2014 @HIDIVEofficial This issue is more than that. Urusei Yatsura was never released in Latin America and it's a cult cl***ic in Italy. There's more than reasons for people to be upset. When Aniplex announced it, people went nuts about it, at the point to contact other companies in order to dub it.

@MrMAD64 @MichaelToole Brazil and some other latin american countries recently changed some youth protection / censorship laws that forced a shut down of Hidive there. Should be only temporarily, but don't know if they fixed it yet.

@LandofObscusion Hidive really needs to improve their service on the app and the firestick. It’s not able to save episodes as well as what episodes I actually watched for some reason. It doesn’t have that issue on their website though, which is what I use for my iPad.

@OtakuDaiKun @WayEthereal SNAFU was LITERALLY just one thar came to mind, because I was watching "To Love Ru" on HiDive earlier. I agree that Rent-a-Girlfriend has awesome WAIFUS. It has Chizuru, after all, but it has one serious problem: the protagonist. That guy's ****ed up from the neck up.

@HIDIVEofficial Dubbed you can’t always enjoy the character & scenes if you’re always looking down at the bottom to read subtitles Back in 2004 when I saw P***ion of the Christ I understand what Mel Gibson was trying to achieve subtitles just kept me from fully enjoying it still can’t read fast
