Any update on what is going on? I gave up trying to update one shared note as any changes I made to it got automatically undone. I tried to remove shared access in case that was the issue - Evernote said that failed. So I duplicated it...

@kurtjgray maybe use evernote for this-- it is cloud based, too. then you just need one p***word written down, to evernote. and as long as you can get into evernote from any computer, all your p***words and links to google docs... yada yada. you get what i'm sayin'

@evernotehelps 👍 There is another syncing issue I continuously face, which swaps the cursor from the body to the title whilst typing, but I've yet to capture it on a video. Will share when I can.

@jmechner @evernote My gosh, we seem to have been down and going down the same path with capturing notes. I also code and abuse Sublime.. I have a dedicated window open with it where I take notes. It's ugly but I'm not losing raw information.

All 3 tools can do all 3 types of work. It is down to personal workflow preference.

@davidmarcus Are you sure it's not an apple problem? I have no problem (save Evernote's new structure) finding, making, emailing, etc. notes, pdfs, gifs, whatever out of Evernote. What is not working for you? Crashing? You sure it's not the Apple environment.

Evernote is such a piece of ****, I used to use it for a long time (paying user), but they didn’t know what direction to go with their product, they kept inventing useless features while core functionality was more and more broken. A perfect example of bad product management

Dear @evernote, search when using the web client is currently broken. Search does Not work. Search results says "No Notes Found" even though I am looking at the text. This has made Evernote useless since I can't find notes.

I wasn't initially convinced of the utility of a distinction between literature notes, permanent notes and fleeting notes.
Fleeting notes though do help you pare down!
My historic notes in Evernote:
- Filled with fleeting notes I can delete or summarise
- I used to over capture
